Abuna Yemata Guh in Ethiopia is a miraculous place. It’s filled with ancient manuscripts and was run by a saint. That’s not all though. You see most people will never ever get to see it. It’s often cited as one of the most inaccessible places of worship in the world. Carved into a cliff face at 2,580 meters (8,460 feet) in the Hawzen woreda of the Tigray Region, this monolithic church dates back to the 5th century. Its remote location requires a strenuous climb up sheer rock faces, often without ropes, making it a pilgrimage for the devoted and adventurous alike. Do you can die trying to get there and 5th century!!!!

What makes it miraculous is its survival and spiritual significance despite its precarious setting. The church houses ancient wall paintings and manuscripts, preserved in near-isolation, and is still used by local Orthodox Christians for worship. According to local tradition, the church was founded by Abuna Yemata, one of the Nine Saints, who sought solitude for prayer in this extreme location, believing it brought him closer to the divine. The site’s inaccessibility is seen as a testament to faith, with the climb itself considered a spiritual journey.

Few outside the local community or dedicated travelers know of it due to its remote location and the physical challenge required to reach it. Yet, those who make the pilgrimage often describe a profound sense of awe, both from the stunning views and the sacred atmosphere of a place seemingly untouched by time.

I have two necklaces that we worked with to soak up not energy but knowledge and communication by that Saint. Adita, bless her soul! It was her that made the climb. These pieces he blue and one pink allow for the riddles and prophecy of the Virgin Mary to be laid upon you in understanding. This means you will be protected and understand what is coming. You will be guided easily as you will be given correct intuition with vision. I only have two.
