We call this piece the Grantings of Calypso.  If you know Greek history, then you know that Calypso is the daughter of Atlas who stakes claim to the Island of Ogygia.  It was here that she entertained Odysseus for seven years, granting him everything he desired, even offering him immortality to remain with her on her island.  
Alas, the callings of home were too strong for Odysseus to ignore and he left Calypso to return.  How sad.  But that doesn't mean her magic has to go to waste!  This item calls upon the ancient nymph to grant you the types of things that she gave to Odysseus.  Essentially, this is a piece that is able to grant the wishes that you have.  She has the magic, as she is the daughter of a Titan.  All you have to do is the use the item, which will create a direct psychic correlation between you and the nymph, which is how she will receive your requests.
