Nizari Ismaili the Order of Assassins. Founded by Hassan-i Sabbah in 1090, they were a sect of Shia Muslims based primarily in Persia and Syria, not Egypt, though Hassan had earlier connections to the Fatimid Caliphate in Egypt. These were tough assassins and you didn’t want to mess with them.  Here is how they trained, what they were like and the magic they practiced.  Historically where the information comes from is their enemies.  Some of those enemies were the Crusaders and the Sunni chroniclers.  There is still some small surviving texts you can get from certain libraries.
So, how did they train? It was rigorous, secretive, disciplined and loyal. It was taught by skilled agents and included combat skills, using daggers, knives or any weapon you wanted. They learned physical and combat skills but that’s not enough. They also learned psychological conditioning. They also learned intelligence and espionage. They learned to speak most languages, to put esoteric magic to use, and how to operate drugged! Hash was used for that part. 
When you buy this ring which is a size 10 or 11 you are then an initiate. I don’t know what this is made of. I do know it’s old, very smooth, brown or a type of brown color and looks a bit alive? I don’t know why but I like it.
