This necklace was created by a being that we called Forever Fred.  His real name is Frederick and he is an immortal warlock.  Hence the reason why we call in Forever Fred.  
Moving on, this piece was created by Forever Fred as he walked the universe and experience various re-entry points of energy.  He has placed this energy into the neckalce in a serious of orbs that are various sizes.  The sizes don't odetrmine how powerful the energy is, they are just different sizes.  
This energy is blank energy, meaning that power or ability has not been assigned to it as of yet.  That is where you come into play.  The user of this piece will dicate what magic is ascribed to each orb of power.  This is done because the energies facilitate a connection the universe that will allow you speak to the Universal Brain, which will grant the magic that you ask of each orb.
